Síncope (2026) is my first short film — the first written and directed by me. I also created its soundscape, later edited by the sound designer. Although it was conceived as my final undergraduate project, Elise and her mysteries had been living within me for a long time.

The horror of being a woman in a world that exists to hunt and devour her; the fear of never fulfilling one’s potential; the emptiness of a routine that slowly breaks you — everything that turns life into an inexorable curse, the cruelest of purgatories: the one that never ends.
