synopses.
During a hot and rainy season, the lack of communication and the absence of any real shared future become the breaking point in Marina and Daniel’s marriage, confronting them with its collapse. Amid it all, the melancholy of the weather carries strong signs that the inevitable is near: the rain, and the separation.
my role.
On Se Acaso Cair a Chuva (2022), I worked as 1st Camera Assistant and had my first direct experience with the lighting and camera equipment of a professional film set.
My role was to support Robério Luz, the Director of Photography, in everything he needed: planning the lighting for each storyboard frame, sourcing and renting equipment, running tests, adjusting gear throughout the shoot, and managing the camera log.
I loved every part of the experience. Working with cinematography is fascinating — such a rich field that one could dedicate a lifetime to it and still never fully explore it.
